The Homework Club provides academic support to Musqueam youth through collaboration with Musqueam and other community partners. The Homework Club focuses on tutoring, mentorship, and helping youth build confidence in areas such as literacy, math, science, and career exploration. The coordinator’s role includes planning, organizing, and delivering athletic and recreational activities as part of weekly programming.
The coordinator is also responsible for developing and delivering engaging after-school programming, managing UBC student volunteers, and creating a supportive learning environment that encourages educational success. This role also involves liaising with teachers, families, and community members, as well as promoting the program through outreach and communication.
