The Reading Club delivers creative literacy programming for Musqueam youth aged 8–12. The club focuses on building reading, writing, and communication skills through engaging and interactive activities that foster confidence and a love of learning.
The coordinator’s role involves creating and implementing sport and recreation activities that align with program goals and participant needs, working closely with UBC student volunteers and community members to deliver programming, organize activities and outings, and support youth development. Additional responsibilities include maintaining program communications, supporting cross-program collaboration, and helping integrate cultural and community-based learning opportunities into literacy activities.
